We all have a feminine side in us. I’m talking about awakening the feminine inside you. That woman who, with her multiple aspects, makes and defines the real you. The woman that is often oppressed by external judgments, emotional traumas and wounds. The woman that loses her voice and value because she’s not being acknowledged and validated. That’s the one we are talking about and that is the one we must recover.

The shieldmaiden. Similar to the virgin, this woman is fierce and an undisputable leader. She is feminine and a warrior who fights for what she believes in. She is a born leader, an inspiration to others. She is focused, determined. Her confidence stems from her self-reliance and trust.

The mother. This is the woman who dedicates her love and devotion for the good of others. Kind, tender, generous, wise, calm, there is a sense of fullness in her. There is a sense of maturity in her that makes her loving and caring.

The sorceress. She is the essence of the femme fatale. Enchanting, sensual, sexual, seductive, emotional, are only few of the words that describe this tremendous and attractive woman. She is an artist, a free-spirited soul drawn by beauty and expression.

The witch. The dark side in all of us is full of positive purposes. The witch is the woman who retrieves into herself. She is very intuitive, calm, quiet. She prefers to meditate on higher levels and does not dwell in mundane social events.

These powerful feminine aspects combined make us, in all our beauty and complexity. At times one prevails over the others and that’s ok. Depending on our needs and circumstances we need to unfold our most useful resource.
